The Gracenote CDDB database is stored in the car and so won't recognise CDs released after the release of the version you have. The database can be updated by the dealer.

Just read this tag and did not know you could download cd's which is great but it looks like you can download a maximum of 10 cd's , is this correct, most of my recent past cars had 20 or 30 gig hard drives, makes 10 cd's look a bit mean? |

I just use my 128gb iPhone6 with CD quality music using Bluetooth or minijack cable if I want the best quality. Have to say upgraded Meridian system is the best I have had in any car I've owned. The standard one is crap and I can't see that the really expensive one would be worth the money! RRS P460e

I think if you heard the Signature system then you would notice the poor performance of A2DP. |

Is there really a limit of 10 CDs on the internal HD for the latest models (I'm thinking of ordering a new one)? |

Got to agree there, had a loaner for a couple of weeks which had the signature, and thought wow what a great sound, and that was at normal listening levels. I thought the mid range meridian in mine was good but when I got back in mine you could certainly tell the difference, fortunately now I've been back in mine for a while now I think I'm used to it again so all is good , my advice is, DONT listen to the signature before buying as you will end up spending even more, as you will definitely have to have it. 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone 2018 Velar R-Dynamic HSE sdv6 silicon silver |
