Meridian Sound System my music downloads

Query re lack of track information when downloading cd to my music....
Some are fine and all information shows on screen but some eg latest Florence & Machine CD loads but just shows "no title"
When playing ..same no title if played in cd slot.
Genuine products not copy CDs ..just wondering if this is a known software fault or what ?

The Gracenote CDDB database is stored in the car and so won't recognise CDs released after the release of the version you have. The database can be updated by the dealer.

All of the above is "I think".

Thanks for that info.
No doubt we will get a free software update with the annual service Whistle

Just read this tag and did not know you could download cd's which is great but it looks like you can download a maximum of 10 cd's , is this correct, most of my recent past cars had 20 or 30 gig hard drives, makes 10 cd's look a bit mean?

I just use my 128gb iPhone6 with CD quality music using Bluetooth or minijack cable if I want the best quality. Have to say upgraded Meridian system is the best I have had in any car I've owned. The standard one is crap and I can't see that the really expensive one would be worth the money! RRS P460e
1983 2 door Range Rover ARB Bar X9000 winch ARB Rear Bar now semi retired.
Many big trips done in this one.
1982 Rangerover nearly restored.
22 Defender D250 with lots of stuff for outback touring
Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!
2013 Land Rover Defender ute.

I think if you heard the Signature system then you would notice the poor performance of A2DP.

Is there really a limit of 10 CDs on the internal HD for the latest models (I'm thinking of ordering a new one)?

Got to agree there, had a loaner for a couple of weeks which had the signature, and thought wow what a great sound, and that was at normal listening levels. I thought the mid range meridian in mine was good but when I got back in mine you could certainly tell the difference, fortunately now I've been back in mine for a while now I think I'm used to it again so all is good Thumbs Up , my advice is, DONT listen to the signature before buying as you will end up spending even more, as you will definitely have to have it. Very Happy 2015 HSE SDV6 Scotia Grey, ebony / lunar, colour coded, deployable steps, TV, sliding pano and a few other bits. Now gone
