Production for MY16 didn't start until 22nd June, so if it takes approx 6 weeks to build, according to those dates they can't be carpathian.

Mr Singh, those are both Carpathians, your informations are wrong. By the way, open eyes, both Cars with MY16 infotainmaint layout and the new Grey Color for the tow-eye covers...

I wasn't aware of that either. I specifically said I didn't want shiny silver and was told that was an optional extra. I said "good because I prefer black". No one mentioned it was being changed to grey Sad Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Thats LR.

Still not Professional organised, in top, changes like these are useless.
Keeping us customers still aware, we are not important for the company, either they dosent care about to inform us correctly...

The shiny (stainless) is still optional, but indeed looks like the normal is now grey; front too (and shows as such on the configurator) :

When you chose the stealth option on the configuration it does change the front panel to a darker colour .
I did notice the lighter grey on the configuration but thought it was connected to the lower spec model and land rover hadn't worked this out , as the panoramic roof doesn't show when you pick the top spec headlong in black .
I spent weeks/months planing this new car and Colours only to have my plans mucked up by some nurd in the design department . I know it's not the end of the world to have it sprayed gloss black but it will niggle me not being original .
Just have to wait and see what it looks like in the flesh .

Wow that grey looks bad IMHO

I think they may have done away with black as they are prone to stone chips - mine has a few now - on the front grill too!

Wasn't aware of the one day builds....

That Censored better be black! I've ordered the stealth pack so don't want no grey or chrome turning up!

It isn't new; only the front screen has changed (and the ability to turn the seat heat on from the A/C control).

Seeing as the only change between 15 and 16 is the front screen (i.e. Heating and Ventilation, Cameras, Audio Video, Telephone, Navigation are identical) then it is almost certainly just a software change.
