Tools organiser under carpet.

Anyone have a picture of the tool organiser from 2005-9 RRS which goes under the carpet in the boot which is full?. Only i got some bits missing from mine and don't know what i should have in there. But would like to replace anything that should be.

Cheers

Most of the slots should be empty on a UK spec car - basically you will have the jack (be very very using it as it isn't fit for purpose) and associated equipment, the locking wheel nut tool and IIRC a double ended screwdriver and that's about it.
Some cars may have had the optional warning triangle , first aid kit and spare lamps box also there if the owner took the car to Europe frequently 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

This is a full one: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post177497.html#177497

As Tim says, most of these items are NOT supplied as standard. Standard kit is only wheel chocks, locking wheel nut key, jack, jack handle, wheel brace and screw driver. My 2013 also came with a misfuel prevention device reset tool (not shown in this picture) but for 2005-2009 this is it. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

There's space for the removable tow bar too though mine never came with one...

I've basically filled mine up with my own tools - jump leads, air compressor, socket set, tow rope, leatherman etc. (I like to be prepared for anything). It's nice to be able to have all that stuff in the boot neatly out of sight. There's loads of space under the back seats for more junk too Laughing

IIRC the misfuelling reset tool didn't become part of the kit until 2007MY. BTW make sure that you do have the wheel wedge, it is an important part of the wheel changing safety kit unless you call out LRA to do the wheel change for you! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have jump leads, tow ropes (yes, more than one), fire extinguisher, tyre compressor and a very small folding spade under the rear seats. Tow bar, jack (and chocks and triangle) and first aid kit under the boot floor. I keep thinking of altering the boot floor polystyrene insert to arrange more stuff under there. Haven't got to it yet though... Embarassed 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yep got a folding spade too... had it for 10 years and never used it once but you never know Laughing

DanV8 - What nut remover did you buy? I got one of those a few years ago but after a few months of use the bloody thing disintegrated... would be nice to get a good one, capable of removing wheel nuts after the tyre monkeys have been at them...
