Is that on all road surfaces or just certain ones?

Mine is noisy on just one dual carriage way where there is something strange about the surface, however my wife's Volvo is much worse on it! 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

yes I have same fitted, taking to dealer on wed for the master tech to have a look. Will insist on trying similar car to compare if they are the same . If the noise level is same then will have to look at different options. First time I have purchased british made and at the moment wish I hadnt

I have those tyres too, but no drumming. Try to listen to see if its one corner - could be a rogue tyre, slightly out of shape? I had to change two Pirelli Scorpion Zeros at about 5mm tread (legal) as they were making the car wander - they were out of shape, but they weren't drumming - maybe a bulge Question

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Several reviews of RR Sport have commented on the quietness within the cabin as being comparable with a luxury saloon, and this has been my experience, too.

I have Goodyear Excellence tyres - definitely road tread pattern but noted for their quiet running on tyre websites (typically 71db compared to average of 73 db, which is significant)

I definitely would not describe my RRS as you describe yours, so I think you should look for a cause as others have suggested. 2011 TDV6 HSE Stornoway grey, ivory trim

Life's too short to drive an ugly car.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

I have the Goodyear excellence tyres and the cabin is very quiet.
It is quieter than the Jag XF I had previously.
The only time I notice road noise is when running over a concrete surface. MY13.5 Autobiography, Santorini Black, Privacy Glass. Gone
Driving a milk float for now.

So, after tests by dealer, the tech I"d the noise as tyre noise and that the problem is ,that to use his words the tyres are saw edged . on return to dealership he was correct they do have a rough edge on the outer tread. He suggested fitting continentals advice I will follow after ive had a few more miles out of these. For whats it worth I did try another rrs and it was the same as mine. highly recommend Martin at Marshalls Peterborough master tech no bull or flim flam knows his product.. Will post again when new tyres fitted. http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

Have just fitted a set of Michelin Latitude Sport 3 all round, initially amazed at how quite they are compared to the Continentals. They are however a purely Summer/On Road tyre so that would account for a lot of it, just have to wait and see how they hold up. 220.00 a corner which I thought was pretty fair for a 275/45 x 20.

Cheers
Col
