Hi, I had a problem with my rear wiper, the motor worked but the blade didn't move, I took it apart and the plastic cog inside was worn, I managed to find a cog on eBay and replaced worn one, works a treat BUT now fitted back on car the wiper will not cancel/switch off, as soon as I put ignition on it sweeps and then carries on with the intermediate setting, I've put the stalk all the way forward (towards the front of car) but still won't cancel the wiper, anyone have any ideas or have had same issue.. True what they say, (careful what you wish for) I wished my rear wiper would work, now it won't stop,

Problem solved, it was the little white clip in the wiper arm stalk that wasn't fully selecting off position, it took me a wile to figure it out but someone must have previously tried to fix or inspect as the stalk arm wasn't quite clicked into position, I pushed on the stalk and pushed into the stalk housing that screws to the steering Column and it clicked into place so it gives that extra bit of motion to completely select off position, I hope this makes sense and helps someone in the future maybe...
