Sportman, I believe Landrover have dropped Cherry Wood and replaced it with American Walnut. The Walnut finish is very similar to the Cherry Wood it replaces but the slight red tones in cherry are replaced with what look like slightly darker tones.

I'm sure cherry wood is no longer available as an option, sportman. There was an 2007 options list posted recently, do a search and see if you can find it

there's no more cherry - it's rhodium, oak or walnut. |

We will wait and see, I guess. Here in North America, advance orders for 2007 RRS Supercharged give owners a choice between cherry and oak for their interior (as well as S/C perforated or Lux non-perforated leather seats.) So, there.

I assume there are different options for different markets, as per Umberto's post?

It looks a bit "warmer" / redder than the cherrywood, its OK and a heap better than the Piano Wood of the FFRR interior! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The specs for 07s just came out on landroverusa.com... No American walnut for Americans. We still get good 'ole cherry wood on HSEs (with luxury packages), and choice of cherry or dark oak on S/C. It's odd that different markets would get different "woods", no? |

Sorry Umbertob - There's still a lot of Cherry wood in stock to shift before we start sending back your walnut trees... Driving - TDV8 HSE in Stornaway / Ebony / Brunel
