A slight tangent, I have read some place, that fitting Disco suspension units improved the Sport ride??? In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

The Disco Sport is a very good drive and well built. My issues were the cost and the effect the 7 seats have on the rear load space. You can't get a flat bed. It will sell well, and so it should but it would have been better with the seven seats as an option. |

Not heard of that but I do know that Disco drivers replace Disco bushes with RRS bushes to improve the handling. I understand that the D4 uses some RRS suspension (presumably bushes or damper settings) to improve the on road manners. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

That option doesn't come up on the "build you own" page on the Land Rover site. I was told you are stuck with 7 seats on the UK version. |

I'm sure it used to when the DS was launched. Perhaps no one was choosing it so LR scrapped it as an option? The 2.5t towing capacity was certainly something that set it apart from the crowd in the SUV market. I would consider a DS if I could have 2.5t towing capacity (for the horse box) and no +2 seating. Don't have kids so the +2 would never be used. A decent strong boot floor without gaps in it would be useful though.
