It is actually a Mini Cam 0801 or 0805 - I suspect E-Prince is a local company that has added its name to the product.

I have an eprance branded 0801 hardwired into the overhead console such that it is live only when ignition is on. Bought it in November 2014 as an experiment really just to help get my head around the whole dashcam thing. Here we are 9 months later and it is still working perfectly.

dont get those, get a A118c which has a capacitor instead of a battery so in theory will last longer...this dashcam is the one that techomoan uses in his car so it cant be that bad..

To get a 0801/05 to do what you want it will have to be switched on 24/7. Motion detection is not for this function - more for when you are driving and generally it will not detect motion when driving and stays off. A gimick.
