I was planning to get some RSX's for my RRS, however became a little concerned re: warranty issues with 22" wheels so am going to hold off for a bit - still the best looking wheel IMO

I like that Orange/Black scheme.... it's like the RRS umbrella!! Very Happy

Jury is still out on the wheels though... too much alloy for my liking.

Ah yes, I' ve heard of the TUV. Censored ... at least there is a way round. I expect the Germans are happy to be overruled by the EU Wink

TUV is there to protect the end consumer from cheap copies from Asia which can cause accidents... Every wheel shouldhave a TUV certificate!

Well, it is for this reason but is also used to protect the home markets etc etc etc.

A.T.U (A massive supplier of wheels and car accessories in Germany), fitted my winter alloys and tyres when I had a Mercedes CLK. The wheels were made in the EU and had the test and approval of several other countries including the UK and France. However, as they had not been approved by the TUV the German law says that they are illegal to fit onto the Mercedes, BUT, A.T.U gave me a 9 page document explaining to any authority that asks that they are legal and safe under the EU law. The document gives the actual law, its various subsections and the other countries safety approval plus the EU approval for the wheels and the EU directive that states the EU law over rides the countries local law.

Yep this is Germany, the love the rules, especially when there are rules about rules! Laughing
