Love the new X6 as well as the old X6 (hence I bought one). Pictures may not do them justice but they have excellent road presence.

saw another new shape RRS up close at the petrol station yesterday

still looks fat and nappy/Ewok like at the back...yeaurch...its the combination of taillights and 'nappy like' area below the boot..
shame really...dunno what I'll buy when its time to change the current RRS

Oman 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

To add my two pennies worth, I got the chance to drive the RRS2 SC recently and it's a beautiful motor no doubt about it. Love the look from the front and sides, much more upto date. Much more refined than my 2006 SC, but, two things disturbed me aesthetically...

1. Is the rear end. It looks unfinished, as if the designers ran out of ideas, or that the ideas had been used elsewhere, for example the Ford Explorer mentioned previously:

This looks much more finished...

2. Is I can't get to grips with the dash. Whilst I really like the new interior and it is much improved over mine, and no doubt the RRS 1.5s I don't like the massive swathe of leather running across the dash, it reminds me of a steel beam. All be it tarted up Confused Surely they could have thought of something better? Not sure what but there are some beautiful simple dashes out there, Audi A8 springs to mind. Again maybe it had been done before or they ran out of ideas...

Cheers

well after much debate and soul searching I concluded there is nothing out there that can do what the RRS does...but I just couldn't live with the look of the RRS2 fat arse..time hasn't made it grow on me at all

sooooo... RRS1 is gone and bought an M3 instead....its a bit bonkers in comparison but everything works so happy days...(defender retained for the inevitable winter weather we get)
