Arch liner

Hello,

I'm fairly new to ownership and noticed my arch liner seems to have popped out or is it normal as I can't see how it goes back in, its seems to be a strip.

Not one on the other side though ??

Surprised Think you will find that is a Wheel arch protector trim - it usually falls off - real bad design - I have ended replacing most of mine over time. Big Cry 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

they get road salt in and 'bubble' so the metal which is inside the rubber, is pushed away. it then just falls off. Costs about £10 to replace and about 30 seconds to do. They generally last about 4 years before needing to be replaced. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Thanks for the replies !

Should all four arches have them or just the rear as I could be missing more than initially thought ?

I found that asking a main dealer to do body-off work resulted in some of them disappearing! Not bothered to replace as yet.

I guess they're intended to stop stones being thrown up against the underside of the wing edge. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Can anybody tell me the name or part number of these little rubber flaps? If I were to remove and leave off would it cause any salt etc to get in places where it shouldn't? Thanks

When i replaced mine I seem to remember that the Freelander trims were considerably cheaper than the RRS ones, but are identical. 5 min job to trim and fit all 4. Thumbs Up FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I gotta order some of these too, as i am missing 2.
Spoke to Dan from Duckworths he advised to buy the freelander ones, due to them being identical and a lot cheaper than the RRS ones. Current 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE with the usual toys: timed climate, Rosen headrest screens, tow bar with twin electrics, Blackvue HD cam
