they get road salt in and 'bubble' so the metal which is inside the rubber, is pushed away. it then just falls off. Costs about £10 to replace and about 30 seconds to do. They generally last about 4 years before needing to be replaced. Bodsys Brake Bible

Replaced all of mine earlier on in the year, got them from Dan @Duckworths 2006 RRS SC Bonatti Grey (the 55th car/van I have owned)

I found that asking a main dealer to do body-off work resulted in some of them disappearing! Not bothered to replace as yet.

Can anybody tell me the name or part number of these little rubber flaps? If I were to remove and leave off would it cause any salt etc to get in places where it shouldn't? Thanks |

When i replaced mine I seem to remember that the Freelander trims were considerably cheaper than the RRS ones, but are identical. 5 min job to trim and fit all 4. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
