Looking for my first RR Sport !

I am seriously considering moving over to a RR Sport (Currently have a E46 M3) due to the fact it is more practical !

Having a looked at various adverts for the past few months i believe that styling wise i prefer the look of the HST models or the RR's that have had the upgrade look to the newer version.

Few questions;

Does the 2.7 come from factory fitted with the HST kit?

Which one is the one to go for? 2.7TD V6 or 3.6TD V8 ?

What should i be looking to pay for a factory fitted RR Sport around the year 2007/2008 ?

How much does it cost to upgrade the look to the newer models?

Anything in particular i should be looking out for?

Many thanks!

I think you should look into the TD6 2.7 if your too worried about fuel costs Thumbs Up RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED

How much better is the 2.7 compared to the 3.6 TDV8 (on economy)

I went for a 2.7 tdv6 instead of the v8 and it was a little unresponsive on initial acceleration so i decided to have it remapped and its now a beast of a thing.

around town i am returning around 22-23 mpg.
on the motorway around 32-33 mpg.
towing a caravan (i have a swift conqueror 645 twin axle 8m long van) i am getting around 22-23 mpg on the motorway.

i love it and wouldn't change it at all.

hope this helps

If you're worried about fuel costs then you shouldn't be looking at a RRS at all! If you get one that has issues then fuel costs will look like tip change in comparison... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
