Hi, apologies in advance if this doesn't make sense but i'm trying to get some info on how to fix a problem so I can order any bits I might need in advance of my husband coming home from work in 2 weeks so he can fix it!

basically the blowers have stopped working. No funny noises or warnings at all so no clues there. I have done a bit of research suggesting it could be the heater blower resistor? Is it worth ordering one, or are there any other things I could try?

Fan relay in engine bay fuse box ? You can try swapping with another of same type to check this. RRS TDV8 Buck Blue (no, not now in my dreams). ..........D3 TDclankety clankV6 ............BMW 318i

Generally, it is the relay under the bonnet that causes the issues. Easy enough to swap with another one, and it wont cost you anything to try

Just want to say thanks! You saved my life. It's winter now in Poland and by blower stopped. Swapped relays and its working perfectly.
