bit sad really but I was pleased this morning ,the rear de-mister now works, took note from on here & took the connecting block apart .one of the male bits was black .cleaned up & now working.another job done.don't know if anybody else has had a noise from the rear tailgate. It sounded like the 2 parts of it where moving and rubbing as you went over bumps finally sussed it was the lower plastic panel ,took it off put new clips on but also had some old draft excluder about, ran that around the plastic where I thought it was touching ,actually worked ,no more noise from the back, initially I thought it was the weights moving around |

it's under rear spoiler, there's a bit on you tube,to remove there's 2 torx on glass part from inside,3 x 10 mm nuts on main tailgate, again on inside |

As Paddi says, but just to add put a towel or blanket on the car roof to rest the spoiler on when loose to prevent damage to paintwork |
