Same happened to me a few weeks back. I brought one from eBay... It's not one that said may need modification, this fitted like a glove. It's a fiddily job tbh but definitely worth doing to avoid spending money on steps! |

Rivets along the flat part of the trim. But cut down 2 dumpy self tapers so there short enough not to foul the outside of the trim, fire them in front and back (where they bend round). That's what I done.

1 G clamp then drill and rivet, then move the clamp round and repeat until fitted. 2.7 TDV6

The rivets desolve after contact with road salt. I replaced my nearside trim with ones off eBay 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Just a suggestion but use stainless steel pop-rivets should last longer.
