i own a citroen c6 2.7hdi same engine as tdv6 i am having pressure build up in expansion tank after replacing the infamous thermostat coolant tank that had split
i am thinking poss head gasket the other problem is when left for some time it takes ages to fire you have to crank for ages then once started runs and starts fine all day my citroen diagnostics show up injector 3 used to be 4 thats only if you continue to crank until it starts but if you crank few seconds pause then repeat several times it will start

what i need to know is a rough cost of hg repair and any recomendations of someone to do the job as all garages i have approached wont touch it because of the engine it has and no way will i line citroens pockets!

am looking for someone close to somerset who is familiar with this engine it is a little more complex as in the citroen its transverse as opposed to rr inline
