Hi, I have a poorly 55 plate RRS and struggling to diagnose. Any thoughts, short of firing it, would be greatly received.
I parked it up and it was fine, the following morning - massive loss of power, until about 3k revs. No faults on dash etc.
I was sure it must be the EGV thingies, but as they were blanked a couple of years ago, I assumed one must have come loose - no such luck, although the symptoms were the same.
The only faults showing are the EGV's, but they've been faulty for ages, hence the blanking plates, so I'm guessing that can't be the issue?
All hoses seem to be ok and the actuator on the turbo isn't stuck. Is it possible that the vanes of the Turbo could still be stuck even with the actuator working?
Swapped the Fuel flow meter thingy today, but no difference. If I'm being honest, it's probably a little better with it disconnected!!!
We seen to be struggling (including me 2 LR guys). Fuel filter, etc all changed. If this makes any difference, it's worse when cold, but still REALLY bad when warm.
Many thanks - Bono
