It’s been quite some time since I started this, at the time I think I meant the (land rover discovery) but as I said I am not a mechanic or involved in cars in anyway, I have only picked up bits of information on discussion with people that seem to know what they are talking about.

This thread was posted years ago but I have come across it changing my ACE RRS to standard anti roll bars. Process is pretty easy. You do not need to modify anything as per some of this thread. The front non active anti roll bar bolts to the chassis in a different place to the ACE anti roll bar and uses different bushes and clamps. But very straight forward. Front uses the same drop links. The rear is slightly harder having to raise the body slightly, but not hard by any means. Rear uses different drop links and bushes but bolts in the same place. I would advise removing the ACE pump, when it runs dry it will almost certainly fail at some point. You just need a different bracket and shorter belt. RRS ACE conversion kits are available but I got all parts needed second hand in nice condition for about £200. |
