Anyone update there's yet? Land Rover emailed in march telling me update available for £169 all in. I asked dealer to install and when I got the bill they are now trying to charge me two hours labour as well!
I have showed them the email and they are looking into it. I have paid the £169 like the email has stated. So anyone had this happen to them? MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.

Update. Dealer phoned and said Land Rover should not of sent that email to me about update 'without' labour charge on it.
Because I have the email Land Rover will foot the bill for the labour.

That is f g ludecrous.......personally, for the money, I think the Sat Nav should be upgraded FOC as part of the annual service, let along charge for the update AND labour.

Audi update sat nav included in service charge but if you opt not to upgrade they don't reduce service bill. Funny that
I agree that considering the price of the car, it would be a nice touch to keep current customers happy. Oh I forgot this is Land Rover. Don't worry, have already hit the wine tonight at least this particular Oxford Landing bottle loves me  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I have the DVD Sat Nav and what you do is eject the existing one, insert the new one and it auto-updates. Takes about 5 minutes, not 2 hours!

It only takes that time because you are just swapping one DVD of maps for another!!

The HDD version copies all the data across to the HDD, no idea why it takes so long though! 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

But surely they are just plugging the computer in to update the system and then working elsewhere on the car or are people paying to have someone watch their car for 2 hours?

They have to download the update from NavTeq, then plug the doo-dah into the RRS, click Next, OK, change a setting, click Next, click Back, correct the setting, click Next, confirm and Click OK, watch the progress bar, scratch their arse, watch the progress bar, yawn, pick at their nose with a latex finger, [repeat these steps many times], click OK, unplug the doo-dah, restart the ignition to reset the system, select GB, click OK, go for a 60 minute drive to test, fill out worksheet, return car to parking area and hand keys to service team, scratch arse, queue for a bacon butty well earned.

And I expect all the other LR engineers take the out of them for being a shiny arsed desk jockey download boy.

Do they not use a preloaded USB stick?

They use the same source as I provided the link for, also you should be given the USB stick as you have paid for it?

Unless anyone has figured a hack for using a USB stick on 2010 and 2011 MY, sadly they have to be connected to a LR life support system to have their maps upgraded.
