S/C Whining sound?

Hello all,

Loving my RRS S/C 06 - i have noticed around 20mph the car makes a kind of whining noise, if i hold the accelerator in the same position it just continues to wine. Its not crazily loud but it is noticeable - has anyone else had this issue or is it just an engine noise?

Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem, every time I hit 200KPH this annoying whining noise would start. The cure was to leave my wife at home Rolling with laughter

It maybe the gearbox on the charger, these have straight cut gears. Is it the same sort of noise as when you give full acceleration?

Thanks for the response - in some ways its similar but what confuses me is that if I get the pedal in the right position the noise remains constant.

Our cars do make this sound. It's normal. As pre mentioned its the charger. I love the sound.

These cars are so complicated you can't really make a diagnosis on the net. Is there anyone local with a charged car that can compare?
