If it's yellow and going cheap are you sure it isn't a chicken?

Sorry about that, I'm stuck in Dubai airport in the middle of the night and feeling a bit bored.

Received one of these cloths today,so a quick review.

Cheap price,prompt delivery.
Certainly does what its claimed to do,if not a little harsh.
It's quicker and easier to use than a clay bar but is defiantly harsher,by that I mean you would not(in my opinion and on my paintwork)get away with using the cloth and not having to polish afterwards.I know the idea is to polish afterwards but with clay you can target a bad area(the arch)then give a blast of Zaino(other products are available) Thumbs Up Very Happy If you want a quick spruce up.
Worth having though and I will be ordering some more.
Steve

One of the reasons I used my wife's car is the Metalic black roof, it's white else were

Nobody but me has washed it since it was new, it's always washed prior to servicing so they don't have too with instructions not to touch it

It had a few swirls on the roof, but I never bothered attending to them so I thought it was a good tester car

The second reason was I didn't want to risk my car Laughing

After finishing the wash and clay cloth, I was fully dried and inspected, there was nothing untoward noticed though I didn't get an inspection light out

I polished with dodo juice lime prime lite, not a cutting polish, just to give additional cleaning prior to sealing

Well done npinks. Dodo Juice is well respected and superb stuff. I followed a Gloss Black Merc yesterday - to be fair it was a 14 Plate, but Gloss Black really shows the shine well compared to metallics! My wife's is Metallic Black and that shines, but Gloss Black is something else.

I've had one of these for a while but today's the first time I've used it properly. I didn't think it was doing much at the time- but now it's been polished and waxed the paint feels like glass. Great product!

Good to hear - I have had many strange looks when I have asked people to feel my bonnet, but the faces soon turn to 'wow' faces!

If you do drop them SRE they are designed that you can give a good rinse in you bucket unlike a clay bar

Received mine yesterday, very prompt delivery, will give it a go at the weekend.

A question for you guys:

A lot of the products that are mentioned in posts previous I have never heard of. My car had the Pureguard type protection added when I purchased it, and I have their paint preserver/sealer in the aftercare kit. Is this ok to use after I have clay clothed the car? 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)
Evoque Prestige Lux (gone)
3.0 a Disco 4 (gone)

it should be fine to use afterwards, i don't think claying will effect the pureguard finish, so you will be just removing the surface contaminates, things like tiny partials of iron etc caught in the lacquer

if you have washed your car using harsh chemical, strong shampoos, like used by the hand wash drive through chaps, then then will have done more damage to your cars paint/puregaurd
