Rain Sensor Module

Hi all - I had the windscreen replaced by Autoglass in March this year. Comes with a lifetime warranty for however long I own the vehicle. Recently whilst scanning for faults, I have a permanent fault of B1B55 - Rain Sensor Module.

Question is, does the unit need recalibrating if it has been unplugged, and then re-fitted? Assume the windscreen does not come with a new sensor, only the bracket for the sensor to fit onto?

Cant say I have seen any issues with the working of the rain sensors, but it would be nice to know.

Thanks in advance.

Update: Sorted the issue - turns out that the rain sensor had not been plugged in correctly during re-installation which was causing the fault + erratic behaviour of lights and wipers.

Easy fix. For a change!
