If you paint it or wrap it, it will look a mess just after your first outing as it will get chipped. A vulnerable area is that. |

Personally if you matt black the silver edge you won't see the steps........ It's the silver on the steps that make them stand out. |

I don't have steps on my MY14, thankfully as I think it looks much better without, but did have on my previous MY10.

I wonder if the vinyl might be more forgiving than a paint, instead of chipping off, it might just puncture, but that will allow water in I assume |

If seen most revere models with painted side steps, must say they do look good on black sports, if you like the pimp daddy look. |

Mine is a Revere with painted side steps. You get the odd chip but really very rarely and I just spray Matt black BBQ spray and it brings it back. I didn't like them black at first but now I prefer it. |

i got a tin of plastic dip and did mine white on my old sport and it was better than just paint as they didnt chip of |
