Potential RRS owner

Morning guys,

I have been lurking both on here and the Disco 4 forum for a while now. I am looking to replace my 2010 Navara, and thought a Disco would be perfect, called into my local LR Dealer on Saturday to have a look at a few pre-owned cars. They were all nice, a step up from the Nav for definate. I then had a look at a 62 plate HSE Luxury RRS, well that could have been an expensive decision, wow! I don't think a Discovery is what I am after anymore. Just need to speak to my accountant now and hopefully I will have a new toy before much longer.
Any advice or points to check when buying used would be appreciated.

Dave

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Hi Spicy, welcome to the site. Thumbs Up
I think once you have spoken to your accountant Shocked He will be advising against buying a RRS, especially if you intend to run it as a company vehicle. Running a RRS as a company vehicle doesn't make financial sense. Whistle If you are buying it from a main dealer on a 62 plate, then there shouldn't be anything to worry about as it will still be covered by the manufacturers warranty. Thumbs Up

Funny how so many are in the same boat. I ran mine as a privately owned car on expenses simply because the tax implications were huge as a company car, in the end an L200 was bought to get out of the situation

Thanks for the advice. Yes, I am aware of the BIK implications so would be buying it privately and charging the mileage. Accountants advice only really needed as far as how to buy the vehicle really.I have always bought cars outright in the past so not too experienced with PCP/finance etc.
