United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
bonded support back for front bumper

Hi all, im looking for some advice.
I've recently bought some hst bumpers and have just noticed before fitting that the front bumper support back is not the same as the 1 I have currently fitted as this has the acc (range rover sport 2007 hse). Is it possible swap support backs from standard bumper to hst or do I need a new support back. Also as these parts are bonded can they be reused?

I can't remember how the rubber was fitted Big Cry the HST Bumper fits straight onto the Sport - nothing needs changing - brackets - bumper docking stations are reused - I haven't seen a HST without ACC - does the new HST bumper looked butchered - you need to speak to a dealer to see if the part is separate unless another member can advise Crying or Very sad my Supercharged ACC rubber stayed with the bumper when removed - sorry if not much help. Embarassed the bumper has 2 components the skin is painted then plastic welded to the support - lower trim / structural plastic - this finish can't be replicated outside the factory by normal painters - in my opinion Whistle 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

New Zealand 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Santorini Black

When I bought one of these body kits from L/R I'm sure they asked me if the car had acc as the front bumper was different and therefore the part number of the complete kit was different.

As the car had acc I don't know what the difference in the bumpers are, although in the kit was a moulded piece which looked like it would fit in the opening where the acc bit goes. Never did work out where it fitted as didn't actually need it.

It may be the bumpers now have all the bits included whether it's acc or not.

Cheers
Col
