Hi guys just to let you know that I have completed the condenser change and all seems well with air con now, the only problems I encountered was rusted torx bolts snapped off drilled out re tapped 8mm and a problem with the parking sensors which is still giving me probs, I disconnected the sensors and connected on refitting the bumper, getting parking aid inactive on dash now,

also anyone know what the 2 light grey connector blocks are behind the head lights with 2 wires going in but nothing coming out the other side, seems like one problem solved another one caused,

from start to finish just over 4 hours if I had to do it again I think I could do it in 2 hours, the main prob is getting the seized bolt out bottom of the bumper which all snapped off, had to drill and tap to 8 mm from 6mm, just the parking sensor pro

b now to sort out

Same happened with my D3 when I had the body off.

All PDC sensors worked fine before. After replacing the engine, and rebuilding, it had 2 faulty sensors. Once replaced, they worked fine again Rolling Eyes

Isn't that the connector for the (optional) ACC? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It's also there on D3's, which never had the option of ACC.

In addition, the ACC wiring doesn't run that way, it runs along the front crossmember IIRC
