Varying ride height

I am still learning from the wealth of information on this forum. When looking at ads, some RRS' look like the suspension is very low and others very high. I understand that it can manually be adjusted, but can it be driven at varying heights?

Personally, I think it looks odd in the 'high' setting but looks awesome in the 'low' setting - Can it be driven in the 'low' setting?

They can be driven in access mode and off road mode below 19mph, anything above that then it goes into standard drive height mode 👍

They can be driven "low", if the suspension heights have been altered, using the correct diagnostic kit

Generally, you can get away with around 18-20mm of a drop, before ride quality begins to suffer, and still maintain access height, sitting even lower

No, in that picture it is in off road mode. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

DIY for as little as £215: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Britpart-EAS-Con...2a2f9da63c

Up to around £450 for a full blown, Bluetooth IID diagnostic tool (dependant on model year)

Expect to pay around £40-£50 for someone else to do it

You can do it cheaply by buying lowering links. These replace the standard links between the height sensors and the suspension arms. Look on ebay etc. Simple DIY job - the longest part of the job is removing the wheels. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

If you do decide to run at a non-standard ride height then you should get a 4 wheel alignment done at the new ride height. Changing the ride height changes the suspension geometry and you risk ruining a set of tyres by having incorrect toe settings etc. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
