Rear lights stolen again

Hi all,
Unfortunately I just had the rear lights stolen again. But this time I am taking this up with LR and if I can I will them to court. This is a ridiculous design and it should not be the case. Spare wheel has also been stolen this time.

Any help on how I could take this up with LR and eventually (if I can) to court, will be very much appreciated. Vadim A.

It's not LR's fault that there are thieving Censored out there...

Suggest you have a look, and get some of the security screws fitted, to prevent it happening again, and also a spare wheel protector Thumbs Up

That Mikey, is a racial and unacceptable statement. As angry as we all are about items continually being filched, being a racist and blaming social groups without foundation are a no-go! 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Shocked what's racial about DM' s statement Sad

Sorry - I see it has been edited ;(

Vadim - cant believe you've been hit again - did you have any security measures ?? Regarding Landrover being held responsible - I agree that they should hold some responsibility to adapt / evolve there product once a problem becomes known - the spare wheel is a prime example Evil or Very Mad

Unfortunately I had no DIY security devices.
I am definitely taking this up with Land Rover. If nothing will be done, I'll be doing my best to take them to the court and eventually selling the car and never coming back to LR ownership again. Come on.. who designs a car with such a flow???

Sorry don't see it as being a LR issue - what actions did you take to prevent further theft - owners have responsibility too - you will just waste more money taking them to court as you will not win.

shame you didnt secure the lights after the first episode..

as for taking LR to court i think i will do the same with chevy cos someone has stolen one of my wheel trims..

and its a bit stupid to tell everyone how to get the light units out....

I believe my only responsibility as an owner should be to lock the vehicle and do my best to park it somewhere I could see the car, which is 1 meter away from my windows. I cannot prevent someone from braking inside the car through the glass and I am willing to accept this risk, text removed by mod, but having the screws so easily accessible is totally unacceptable.
I will if have the grounds take LR to the court just for the sake of it and publish my story in a local newspaper. Vadim A.

It was edited.

I used the letter "p", followed by "I", and "key", and predicitve text said they were thriving, and not thieving.

Either way Censored

I still liked it how it was...say it how it is...far too much political correctness these days. Gone but not forgotten, 2005 RRS SC first edition, BMW 2010 Z4,TVR Tamora, TVR Cerb, MERC SL 55 AMG, E46 M3, Z4, Jag S type R, Skyline R33 GTR 640 bhp, Evo FQ 400, L322 RR, X5, Lotus Esprit V8 twin turbo, Lotus Elise 135r, Nissan Murano, Honda S2000, 911, Boxster s...and a few more
