With a turbo going it could last weeks/ months or it blow pulling out of your drive tomorrow it's impossible to say. It might be worth getting your mechanic to check for sticking actuators though, cheap and simple fix if they free off. Check fault codes.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

I took the car in today to had it checked. This is an indepentent mechanic.
We were looking to find from where we had the air leak.As I mention in my previous posts apart from the WHOooo noice that it was coming from the right front corner,I also had too much of black smoke coming from the exhaust. This is a sign that the ECU is trying to compansate to a possible air loss by feeding more diesel.

We checked first the front 2 most obvious rubber intercooler hoses in the engine bay. They had no problems
We then started checking the right side first under the wheel arch where the turbo is.Difficult to get access from there, but after removing some covers we could see traces of oil. This were coming from the connection of the plastic pipe to the turbo charger. This plastic pipe is the one that goes up to the air filter box
At the point were is connected to the turbo, there is a rubber gasket that seats in the oppening. This gasket was torned.I had attached some photos of it
I do not remember reading anywhere in here this kind of damage regarding relevant issues.
This rubber gasket was not readily available. We have to order it.I do not know the part number either or what is the name of it, if any one can help.
The following week in Greece is summer holidays week and everything is closed,so my mechanic put everything back together with what's left of that seal.He said we can fix it when it arrives. The noice now is even more tense under pressure .He said in no problem.
I have do go for holidays with the car and I hope he is right..

I had attached a LR diagram with the actual tube and Rubber I had described above

Is the one designated as 9B659B.The rubber is show next at the opening.

So we had replaced the above, but also I had replaced the rubber hose(10 cm long) next to this plasric hose.
This rubber hose again is connected to the turbo. We found this to be slightly torned where the jubilee clip is tighten. We had used a silicon hose for that. The problem is sorted now.No black smoke and whistling noice
