United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

Won't stop them doing other damage, but it may be enough to distract them long enough for someone to see/catch them in the act, or for them to change their mind...

What about fitting armoured glass? I've had it on a few of my cars, and it kept a scumbag out of a 911 I had years ago. They use them on fire engines and ambulances, and if they can't get the window in, they can't open the bonnet.

This is the place I used, don't know how good they are now: http://www.pentagonglasstech.com

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Alaska White

UPDATE

So, we are still without our Range Rover, it has been at the body shop for almost a month. It is now back with the dealer, having just had it's service done there too.

To make things worse, there are still scratches all over the interior, fair to say we are livid now. We have been without it for over a month now, still paying a substantial amount in finance, and the car is still in a poor condition.

You'd think the £7000 repair bill would include everything to restore it back to sub-3000 mile condition?!?

So we have been back there this morning, and what do you know... 2 more Sports with their front ends missing and window smashed - When will this end! The police are calling this 'Operation Emporia'?

We are at the stage where we don't feel we can have the car back and leave it anywhere that's not under lock and key! Having said that to the salesman (who we have used for years now) offered us £40,000 on a trade in, this car has 3000 miles on the clock, and is a Sport Black Edition... What a joke. No mention of discount.

Land Rover UK have been phoned this morning, something needs to be done to stop the lights being stolen so easily, NOW!

How many more Range Rovers? Somebody from the police mentioned a figure of 70 RRS' have had this in Yorkshire now???

Thats all well and good recovering all these parts, but unless you can prove they are your headlights for example, the police arn't going to hand them over to you. Not to mention they will need to keep them for evidence for about 10 years till the criminals are brought to court. Thats if they ever are. Whistle

Can someone give the rest of us a clue as to the identity of the dealer that is being spoke about...that way the good dealers in that area are not thought badly off and it allows the rest of us "not in the know" to avoid being ripped off....... Gone but not forgotten, 2005 RRS SC first edition, BMW 2010 Z4,TVR Tamora, TVR Cerb, MERC SL 55 AMG, E46 M3, Z4, Jag S type R, Skyline R33 GTR 640 bhp, Evo FQ 400, L322 RR, X5, Lotus Esprit V8 twin turbo, Lotus Elise 135r, Nissan Murano, Honda S2000, 911, Boxster s...and a few more

We are looking at ways of improving the security of the RR should we take the car back.

Firstly, nobody heard the alarm sound, I have come across a 'Viper Alarm System' which should rectify that!

Offered for Range Rovers, if I am honest it looks incredible.

http://www.securemycar.co.uk/stolen-range-rover.html

This could be the avenue we go down.

Anyone else had experience with this company or system?

I have contacted Securemycar about having the Viper system fitted to mine, he is due up in Yorkshire for a couple of days in approximately 5/6 weeks, my name is on the list for fitting, I'm sure the more of us that wanted one the quicker this could be done. I'm happy to liaise with Antony if you express an interest, we may even be able to negotiate terms for a group of us !!! 3.0 SDV6 HSE Fuji White, Ebony / Lunar Dark Grey Oak,22" Alloys, Red Brake Callipers, Panoramic Roof in Contrast Black, Heated Steering Wheel, Full Size Spare, Privacy Glass & Fixed Side Steps
