I've been back on the road as of today so that's a relief.

A friend of mine used a company for land rover aftermarket parts previously and the tolerance was out once fitted so to be fair it can be hit and miss at times.

But you had exactly that issue again by going for second-hand parts from damaged vehicles

The dealer you have chosen to get a price quote from doesn't know what they are talking about.

That was my view too - and it wouldn't be the first time a dealer doesn't understand an issue. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
