ISSUE When start car grinds, HTC FAULT




HI guys

Nice forum here

I got a Range sport 3.6TD range rover sport AUTOBOILGPHY


It has been sitting a couple weeks then today
when pulling off

The car come make grinding noise liken the brakes was staying on,

after that there some some words come up on the dash

HTC fault
the suspension lowered
the DCS light come on
Brake pad light come on.

I did some more tests

when i turned car off then turned back said no faults until i started to drive again then the grind noise happened and same faults appeared.

more test when i started the car i pressed the DSC button then moved i would not grind but after 30 seconds oif traveling the HTC fault and suspension would lower again.

More tested start and traveled didnt grind this time but i had foot full down on pedal and car didnt wanna move didnt rev or anything until the HTC fault light popped up.

Need some help on this please guys

at a guess the EPB is stuck on and that could be the grinding noise

and a flat battery can cause the dash to light up

Car started fine. The frinding noise and goes feels fine after all the warning lighst have come on

could it be somthing to do with the ABS?

fault codes might have been stored, pop in to a dealer or LR Specialist to have them read Idea
