3.0 tdv6 engine conversion from a 2.7 tdv6 CAN IT BE DONE?

Hi guys, have anyone fitted a 3.0 TDV6 into a 2.7 TDV6? My current engine is knackered and just wondered if it can be done? (dont have to change many parts)? if anyone has can you let me know how you done it and what has to be changed. many thanks.

Nothing is impossible if your pockets are deep enough, but it would be a major job as the wiring loom is completely different, the main ecu is different, the turbo's are different I would think unless you have access to some top end diagnostic to change it all then I don't think it would be worth the effort..
Unless someone comes along that's done it to point the way..

Mr Flack. Do you know if the ancillaries from the 2.7, will physically bolt onto the 3.0 block?

Not sure Mickey but I would think there would be differences, as you know some parts are quite a different shape on each model..Most of the coolant pipes are different and I think the egr valves are also not the same.
