sounds a very cheap "remedy", if it was that good it would be more expensive, wouldnt it ? like a terraclean ~ £100 ? Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

The average dealer's 'service receptionist' is about as close to being an automotive engineer as I am to being Pope -its marketing bull: modern synthetic oils and filters do not need to be flushed - this is out-of-date and solely aimed at getting cash from you. |

Yes just as i thought, you could tell the receptionist was reading it off a script, because she didn't have any answers to my questions and she did admit, she was not mechanically minded. Thanks for your input guys. |

I remember when I did an engine flush on my 1.6 nova, granted it pulled every bit of dirt out of the engine but that dirt masked all the rattles and knocks the engine had. So then had to put morrisons own treacle oil in the make it quite again...

Never have an engine flush...its just about the worse thing you can do to an engine.
