The thought I had was "how can they check and clear faults if they can't even reset the service indicator?" 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Have to confess, the thought I had was not much of a specialist if they don't have basic service and diagnostics. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Not on an 05MY you can't Can only do it through the dash on 08>on MY's
Would be more worried about this though. Even an entry level Snap-On computer can clear service lights... |

If he has the diagnostic tools for your car there should be no reason to travel to a dealer...even the most basic tool does it. Mike

Any local car garage that uses snap on can do it. Sonus or Verus does reset it as does autodata. Bit far from me to offer my help 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Tried it yesterday on another car I had done, and wouldn't work. Must depend on which other software has been upgraded |
