Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Just to add to the debate, when in traffic I use the EPB and leave the selector in drive. My reason for this is I remember reading somewhere in LR literature that one of the ways they improved fuel efficiency with the 8 speed box is that when car is stationary it automatically engages neutral regardless of selector position. Then you just press the accelerator and it releases the EPB and reengages the drive. 2017 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

If that were the case, then surely the car would not start to creep forwards when you take your foot off the brake at traffic lights. ---------------------------

I agree, it sounds like a lot of s Censored e to me, but maybe it reengages it when the brake pressure reduces anticipating that you want to move off?

There must be some clever Censored on here who knows how it works. 2017 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

EPB creep

Speaking to a few Techs they advised that i apply the EPB whilst driving at a low speed.. This seems to clear the disc and since doing that i have not had any more issues

Australia 2013 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Fuji White

Jay,
Pretty much what I said in my posts above. Very Happy
Clears the drum rather than "the disc".
EPB works on the drum rather than the disc.
