United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Fuji White
Creaky boot

When driving My 13 there is a creaking noise from the boot,it's driving me mad. Big Cry it seems to be the plastic just under the glass where the writing is,if I hold that and try and move it I get the creaking so this must be what I'm hearing when driving.has any one else had this problem?

Same with my13 black. Was getting very annoying. It was badly adjusted tailgate. Fixed by hunters. Suggest you take it back to your dealer

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

In the meantime, get a can of silicone spray and spray in the join area where the creaking occurs. You can also use some black electrical tape to make the catch close more tightly. Hope this helps n the interim.... Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Mine is a be as we'll,strange,I will book it in when I'm next on the mainland but it doesn't seem like the catch it's where the release button is.the silicon spray is not a bad idea but if it stops the dealer won't here it and will say its fine.

Don't have it on my BE (yet) but my previous RRS developed a creaking noise from the tailgate. Save yourself some time and try this if the noise is coming from the lock area: http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post80375.html#80375. Worked perfectly for me.
