Wouldn't have thought that would be possible, and even if it was surely you would have to lose all the off road functions if you used the knob for something else.

Your not wrong man, but i think the reason was all the sat nav was 3D, all the seat adjustments etc was null and void |

Never trust a Pilot.....(joking) The BMW i Drive system is very good but I would have thought that its RR for RRS and BMW for BMWs? I would be very wary of mixing the two. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

cheers for the help fellas. So thats that idea out the window, can anyone recommend any decent sat nav programmes? i didnt realise there was so many untill i looked online. |

The fitted sat nav is frankly not up to much even if you have the most recent DVD.

I use Copilot on my Nexus phone. Works very well and can be configured with various extras should you wish. Can also be used away from the vehicle of course. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
