Just been quoted £1899 for 3 years or £750 for 1 year with everything covered. Will likely do the 1 year as would have to change car if job changed. No inspection needed and willing to do 4 x £175.50 quarterly interest free payments. 2010 TDV8...

52,500 so far & yes WD... trying to get wear & tear on day 1 & down to £700 so 4x £175, drop in the ocean compared to any work that needs doing. 2010 TDV8...

Yes I've got wear and tear from day one once it's had the inspection - which for £70 and done by Scotia I don't mind as I've only had the RRS a week.

£1775 for 3 years on the extra care policy with all the extras thrown in and covered.

I'm very pleased overall.

So did i, also i had the EGR cooler replaced at the same time as this was found to be leaking when they removed the EGR valve, all covered by WD.

These day 1 covers, do they include a "cooling period"?

Secondly is there such thing as contribution policy?

1. As with most you have 14 days to cancel it.

2. Yes if your vehicle is over a certain age or mileage you will have to pay a parts contribution cost. WD call this "betterment clause".

As my RRS was over 6 years at the time before I took out the policy, I would have had to contribute 20% of the parts cost per claim. However I paid an extra £50 to have this removed.
