Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

it's not compressor, as mine is still doing this even after new one fitted, plus new front height sensors, new front arch wiring etc. I've given up too, as never need to change height settings. LR now saying it may be the rear sensors, sending a false reading to the front, sounds daft to me though.

Try this, do the same thing when moving slowly forward, as mine lowers and raises 100% perfectly when moving, but not at stand still  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

The air hose is 6mm. If you can't get a fitting, PM me and I can maybe help out.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Lux Orkney Grey

Part of the suspension design is that if you're driving and the car detects something under the chassis etc it will raise to extended mode to clear the obstacle.

This is why, when jacking the car, you need to 'lock' the ride height because if you jack under the chassis the car will attempt to rise. If your car is thinking it has hit something as it goes into access mode, (i.e. the bumps stops, or a faulty ride height sensor or because, as mentioned above, someone played with the settings) it will try and go to 'extended'.

Its probably nowt to do with your compressor's performance if it is raising and lowering relatively quickly.
