Located underneath - passenger side just in front of the rear wheel it's inside a black plastic casing. Is it noisy ?? 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

I never thought is was noisy until today. I was sat in car with diagnostic plugged in and as soon as I cleared the fault code the compressor fired back up and did sound a bit noisy, but not sure if it was just more noticeable as I was listening for it with no radio on etc.. It then came up with same fault approx 4 minutes later so I didn't clear it again. |

It can be a DIY job but there is a newer version now - AMK - Flack or Bodsy ( site sponsors ) can give a bit more advice. They have been known to be refurbed - I replaced mine - sweet as a nut & very quiet. They usually last 40 - 60k miles. A sure sign they are failing is a noisy compressor. Give Bodsy or Flack a pm. |
