Ok! No faults Thumbs Up , that's good. So those that have a lowering unit, what amount can you lower the suspension and still have an good ride quality ?

Mine was at -25mm and it was slightly firmer than normal but still perfectly acceptable.

As I indicated above I run mine at -20mm (is just a flick of a switch to change from onroad height to -20mm, or +30mm or +50mm) and the ride is the same as at onroad height, no change in tyre wear, no need to do a wheel alignment.

So it sounds as if -20 to -25 is still going to give a decent ride, its just whether it changes how it looks enough MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

This is -25mm at normal ride height Thumbs Up

You need to be running 22's to maximise the lowered appearance..... on 20's mine didn't look as good and actually looks more at home at standard height Thumbs Up RRS gone

Yes those were my old 22's (of which I cracked one on a pothole and finally gave up on 22's around my narrow lanes)

I then put on 20's and the lowering never looked as good so reverted to standard ride height again. RRS gone

Ok thanks. Just trying to establish if it is worth spending money on lowering the car with 20" wheels on. Starting to wonder if it will give the desired look or should I leave it alone and save the money Wink MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys

Lowering + 22's looks Cool

Lowering and 20's is a confused image.... the smaller rims and more rubber is less street orientated and more 4x4 and imho didn't look "right" with the body lowered down...it was almost over bodied?

Everyone has their own opinion though Laughing Mr. Green RRS gone
