I would say not really. I dont get they hike - if it was closer to the current run price with the same toys i would be tempted...but as it isnt, the increase isnt justified. Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

Difficult one this. The new model is going to be very desirable if not to everyone's taste, but like mse I don't get the 'Pay lots more for lots less' scenario. I guess loads of RRS owners don't go off road and probably won't venture out in the snow, but when you need to then all the trickery of the dynamic comes into its own. If you are buying one of the most capable off road cars in the world you want the thing to perform, don't you? i'm not into 'soft roaders' anymore (had an x5 & Q7 ) and I can't accept JLR want to fleece us another £5k for the dynamic model when my current HSE has all the capability as standard. Doesn't stop mrs Stu wanting a new one though! Oh well, only another £45k on top of what mines probably worth.... If you're happy with the spec and its got the toys you want, go for it Stu 2023 RRS p440e SE Dynamic 2018 Discovery 5 SDV6 HSE Santorini gone 2014 SDV6 HSE Santorini gone 2007 TDV6 HSE Java gone 2003 Discovery TD5 ES gone and missed 2008 Q7 gone 2005 X5 gone 2003 X5 gone 2000 Freelander 2.5 V6 gone- not missed!! |

Don't forget, that's £74,000 before the dealers fitting charges are added.

Which takes it into FFRR territory and that has lots of the stuff as standard... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Its not just hard toys that arent fitted - its soft stuff thats missing that pains me. eg I dont use the TV much...but i dont expect to pay £800 more for it when it was standard Mike
