Your dealer is telling porkies... Then again, how many dealers actually know anything about the product they sell? Not many. |

Thanks for your reply, I will go back to them and ask. I am getting a RRS next week and came across this and alarm bells started to sound!

Would adding light guards assist as being a deterrent? |

The spare wheel is at greater risk of theft. Get a spare wheel protector from Uncle Ray - perhaps get LR to pay for it ![]() http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic23416....+protector The screws for the lights are pence so chase the £70odd quid for the wheel protector instead ![]() * GONE. 2012 RR Sport HSE SDV6 Orkney Grey. I would recommend every time you lock the vehicle, DON'T use the remote control. Press the button on the door handle twice and that will set the deadlocks. It will also stop someone grabbing your remote signal if you use your remote key fob. |

I always use the door handle to lock and unlock. There is a thread on here somewhere on the subject of aftermarket alarms which disables the ecu which is a good thing as this is what they use to plug in their theft device. |
