I believe there are software that increase the volume output of the Iphone, that should help a bit '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

This has been raised before. What you need is a means of connecting directly from the lightning connector of the iPhone 5 to the aux port. This way you will be getting a better lineout quality signal and not the feeble output from the iPhone's headphone socket.

Problem is - last time this came up, there was no suitable lead available so you might have to buy an Apple adapter from Apple (£25!) to convert the lightning connector back to the old 30 pin configuration and then use one of these:

to connect to the aux port. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Yes and you won't need the adapter. The USB plugs into a cigarette lighter charger (£9 in Sainsburys)

Going back to the original question I see on lots of Apple forums many complaints about reduced maximum audio volume with iPhone 5. Can be fixed but you need to jailbreak the 'phone to do it. iPhone 4S is said to be best for sound volume and quality. Without Steve Apple seem to be losing it. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
