Fitting should take no more than a couple of hours - preferably by 2 people. The only difficult part is removing the trim screws. Some of the plastic fasteners may break but as long as you have a few spare - not a problem most steps come with new fasteners. The side steps are the only non OEM parts I have on my RRS. I was not prepared to pay circa £500 for the steps when the ones I purchased looked exactly the same. I used Pimp My Range but would not recommend.

Look for side steps that come with pre-cut sills. Some kits require you to cut the sill trims yourself. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Mine did not but theres a template that is supplied. Very easy if you have a jigsaw. Make sure you buy new plastic fasteners as most will snap off and the ones that dont wont go back as good as originally fitted. Will take about 2hrs one side than 1 hour for the other. |
