2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Santorini Black

Side steps

Hi All
thinking of fitting side steps to the R/R.
wheres the best place to get some. Also are they a DIY fit ?

Fitting should take no more than a couple of hours - preferably by 2 people. The only difficult part is removing the trim screws.Some of the plastic fasteners may break but as long as you have a few spare - not a problem most steps come with new fasteners.The side steps are the only non OEM parts I have on my RRS. I was not prepared to pay circa £500 for the steps when the ones I purchased looked exactly the same. I used Pimp My Range but would not recommend.
Ideally a forum member may have purchased some recently & can recommend a decent supplier. 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

I have been quoted 480 fitted by a indie garage. I looked at powerworld ? ones and they are 180 then would fit them myself.

2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Look for side steps that come with pre-cut sills. Some kits require you to cut the sill trims yourself. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

£300 fitting if you was in Birmingham you could come round mine with a crate of Stella & I would help you fit them.

Mine did not but theres a template that is supplied. Very easy if you have a jigsaw. Make sure you buy new plastic fasteners as most will snap off and the ones that dont wont go back as good as originally fitted.

Will take about 2hrs one side than 1 hour for the other.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

Fitted them to my RRS last month, bought from Powerful UK.
Come with pre-cut cills and a natty little tool for removing the plastic clips.
Took about 3 hours to fit them, would recommend them. Cost £200.00. MY13.5 Autobiography, Santorini Black, Privacy Glass. Gone
Driving a milk float for now.
