Hi Guys, just wondering what oil you guys use for your TDV8.

the right spec not the brand matters only.

5W30 WSS M2C934B for DPF (and if you want, for non DPF too)

if you assure you are using the right spec, dont worry too much about brand, and yes about right price.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Zermatt Silver

This is correct, but don't worry too much about Ford spec. Newer oils are better. I swear by Silkolene Pro-S 5w30 in my TDV6 2.7.

Check out the oil selector on Opie Oils website. These guys really know their stuff.

They sell more Silkolene Pro-S than anything else. Type V oils like Pro-S are better than Type IV PAOs.
